Why come to a store instead of buying on the internet or over the phone?
When you buy locally, the revenue helps to build new towers and upgrade existing towers in our own area. When you buy through the internet or over the phone, some other area benefits from the revenue. So the best way to improve our coverage is to shop locally.

I purchased a phone at one of your stores and I don't like it. Can I trade it for a different model?
When you purchase a phone from one of our LTC stores you have a 15 day trial period with your phone. Within the first 3 days you can trade your phone out for a different model at no charge other than the difference in the cost of the phones. After the third day you can still exchange your phone but you will be charged a $30 restocking fee. After your 15 days are up, we will no longer be able to exchange your phone.
If you do want to exchange phones, the phone you originally purchased must be in like new condition with all of the accessories that came with it including the box. The proof of purchase sticker must still be on the box. If that is removed within the 15 days you will not be able to exchange phones.
I am only halfway through my bill cycle and I am already over my minutes. What do I do?
If you are close or have already gone over your minutes in the middle of your bill cycle we are able to backdate your calling plan to a higher allowance. This prevents you from having to spend a ton of money in overage charges. Remember to check your minutes by using #MIN from your cell phone so that you don't have any surprises when your bill cuts.
You can check your minutes by dialing #MIN from your cell phone. You will receive a free text message breaking down your minutes. If you are on a family share plan you will need to scroll down through the message to see how many your lines have used total.
My child wants a phone but I don't know that they are responsible enough yet and I don't want a huge bill. Is there any way to control their usage?
Why yes there is. Verizon Wireless offers a feature called Usage Controls. It costs $4.99 a month and with this you have control over their phone and can set limits. If you want to make sure they aren't texting their friends during school hours you can set up their phone to become inactive during the hours that you choose. You can block their phone so you know they aren't receiving late night phone calls. You can stay up to date on the amount of minutes and texts they are using that way you won't have any surprises on your bill.
How would I take pictures that I saved on my phone and move them to the internet?
There are two ways to do this.
1. Once in your photo gallery you can go under options and send them to an email address.
2. If your phone has the option for a memory card, you would simply save the pictures to the card and then place the card and adapter into your computer's alotted slot. If your computer does not have a slot for a memory card you can purchase a memory card reader and that is connected through the USB port.
If I get my phone online and it has a problem can I return it to your store?
Unfortunately, if you purchase a phone from a different store you may not return it to any of our LTC locations. You will need to either mail the phone back if it was shipped to you or bring it back to the store where it was purchased.
If you bought a phone from the Let's Talk Cellular (LTC) in Cody, you would however be able to exchange it in one of our other locations or vice versa. That is the only exception.
The first month always runs more than your regular monthly charge. On your first bill you will have an activation fee which is $35 for the first line and $25 for each additional line of service added. On top of that you will be charged for a partial month of service as well as your month in advance. If you still have questions bring your bill in to the nearest LTC and have one of our employees go over it with you.
What is the difference between ringback tones and ringtones?
Ringtones are what you hear on your phone when you receive a call. Ringback tones are what the caller hears on their end when they call you. To access ringback tones you need a certain feature on your price plan which will be a monthly cost of $0.99, so make sure you call your local Let's Talk Cellular employee to add it. The actual songs can be added through Get It Now, Media Center, or the internet.
When you sign up for a two year contract you are eligible for an upgrade every 22 months. The primary line on the account may be eligible for an annual upgrade and if you contact one of our locations we would be happy to find out for you.
If I pick a price plan when I sign up does that mean I am obligated to stay on that same plan for the full two years?
When purchasing a plan through Verizon Wireless you are free to go up or down in minutes as often as you please. In no way are you obligated to stay on the same plan for the full two years unless you choose to do so. If you do decide to change plans your contract will not be extended.
Insurance covers physical damage to your phone for $4.99 a month. If you were to break your phone or drop it in water all you would have to do is pay the $50 deductible and Asurion will send you a replacement phone. If you do not have insurance and you damage your phone before you are eligible for an upgrade you will have to pay the outright cost of the phone.
